What is Life Coaching?
Life Coaching is unique and offers you an opportunity for transformation, not temporary change.
Life Coaching is not therapy, counseling or advice giving.
Life Coaching is a partnership between you , the client and me, your coach.
Life Coaching is goal directed, focused and outcome based.
We all are thrown curve balls in life that lead to feeling stuck. These curveballs are the springboards for change and growth. We are not meant to stay stuck where we are. We are meant to thrive in our lives.
Life coaching will help you identify where you are stuck and develop tools to get you from where you are to where you want to be professionally, relationally or personally.
As your coach, I am committed to coming alongside you on your journey of discovery and awareness.
As your coach I am committed to holding you accountable.
As your coach I will partner with you, meet you with compassion and encourage you with truth. I will draw upon my life experiences, education and professional experiences where I, too, have had to learn to strive, grow and thrive.
Get to Know Amy
After spending 22 years in the Human Service fields of child therapy, foster care, adoption and medical social work, Amy saw a need to meet clients on a deeper, more transformative level.
Amy herself has lived through some of the toughest curveballs that life has to offer. During those times she learned to not let the grief of separately losing two of her five children to mitochondrial disease stop her from living the life that God intended her to live.
Learning to live through this level of grief while raising her family, investing in her marriage and performing at her job taught her what it takes to thrive in life. Amy is excited to share these tools with you as you reach your goals.
Amy jumped into her dream of becoming a Life Coach and can not wait to help you jump into yours as you Strive. Grow. Thrive!
Amy possesses a BA in Psychology from Grove City College and is a professionally trained Life Coach through the Christian Coach Institute. She has worked in various areas of human services for more than 20 years, with the last 15 years in medical social work. She is a 2013 recipient of a Jefferson Award for Human Service and was recently published in Readers Digest.
